Sarwangin Gram Vikas Sanstha, Khunti, was born out of a simple yet powerful vision—to transform rural lives through collective effort, compassion, and sustainable development. Rooted in the heart of Jharkhand’s tribal belt, our organization works closely with local communities to understand their real challenges and create meaningful, long-lasting solutions.

The word “Sarwangin” means holistic, and that is exactly what defines our approach. We believe that true development cannot happen in isolation—it must touch every aspect of life, from education and healthcare to livelihoods, environment, and social empowerment.

Our journey began with a small group of dedicated individuals who were deeply concerned about the lack of access to basic facilities in rural Khunti. Schools were under-resourced, healthcare services were limited, and many families struggled to find stable sources of income. Instead of waiting for change, we decided to become the change.

Over the years, Sarwangin Gram Vikas Sanstha has evolved into a community-driven organization working at the grassroots level. We focus on:

  • Empowering children and youth through education, digital learning, and skill development
  • Improving community health through awareness programs, camps, and support initiatives
  • Enhancing livelihoods by promoting agriculture, self-employment, and vocational training
  • Supporting women empowerment by encouraging leadership, financial independence, and self-help groups
  • Protecting the environment through awareness and sustainable practices
